April 24, 2014 – Irvine, California: Today Trace3 opened up the Irvine office bright and early to welcome Palo Alto Networks and our mutual customers to a ½ day technical deep dive lab experience. Braving the horrific Southern California driving conditions, over 25 highly skilled technical professionals descended on the Trace3 office to attend a hands-on Palo Alto Networks interactive lab experience. The attendance was at capacity and a few of us non-engineers needed to forfeit our chair to the true professionals.
The jammed pack room of engineering mind power is a result of the energy around the new release of the Palo Alto Networks PA-7050 Datacenter Firewall. “The pace of change is unparalleled in the IT space today. And security is absolutely a top-level priority for Trace3 and our customers,” said Timothy Abbott Trace3 General Manager. “I’m pleased that Palo Alto and their dedicated team were able to fully support our event today.”
Attendees at the training received first-hand experience configuring Palo Alto Networks’ next generation firewall product. Every attendee was primed and ready to get engaged with the on-hand engineering expertise. Attendees posed specific use case scenarios and questions to the on hand Palo Alto engineers increasing the value of the hands-on experience for everyone.
For Trace3, a goal for the lab experience today was for attendees to understand the powerful purpose built capabilities of the Palo Alto Networks’ firewalls. And to ensure that each attendee and their respective organizations recognize the importance of properly deploying PAN products in their environment in addition to learning how to configure security policies that will ultimately restore visibility and control over their applications, users, and content traversing their network. Delivering the complimentary training to valued Trace3 customers underscores the commitment Trace3 has to our customers to be an Innovative, Relevant, and Trusted partner.
